S.P.O.C.K. - 1999

Star Trek, Star Wars, ... enough topics to sing about without care for sense.
With this release S.P.O.C.K show us that pure Synthpop can be also funny and dancy instead of melancholic and dark. Anyway, this album is more danceable and melodic than their previous releases. The songs "Dr. McCoy" and "Out There" are my favorites and in my opinion the best songs they composed.

S.P.O.C.K. are the funniest Synthband in the Galaxy!!!!
Just listen and enjoy their dancy Synth without thinking about the sense of their lyrics!!!

IRIS - Disconnect

Another excellent release by the American synthlabel and distributor "A Different Drum".Every song on here is eighties influenced (that does not mean that it sounds old-fashioned or outdated) and very memorable. Each one has a hook to it, whether the track be slow or fast.Overall, this is a great album that was able to enter the German Alternative Album Chats at Position 8!!!.

I also have to recommend the single-releases as those include excellent "B-Side" songs and remixes.

APOPTYGMA BERZERK - Live 1998

I was able to visit their concert in Dornbirn during their last tour. I was impressed by their powerful and professional performance. That is the reason why I bought this limited (only 1.000 pieces) Live-Release. Among the live tracks they packed some interviews and videos for PC on two CDs.

This CD is a must for each who like powerful Synthetics!

POINT OF VIEW - Despair & Delight

This album starts with a report about the dreadful war of Serbia and continues with classic Synth. Overall, the songs are more dancable and poppier than pervious releases. I also recognized more dynamic melodies and an improved singing. Songs like "Confusion" and "Yet another ... days" invite you to dance.
