synth and drums with aggressive voice. It is so fast
and it spreads so much energy that you will have no

DISTAIN - Homesick Alien
Distain's third album can convince with well
composed ballades and some poppy
tracks. Distain does not compose ordinary synth and
some songs are hard to digest. After all it is a
very interesting album with a lot of surprises
- Synthpop of the next Generation!

STATEMACHINE - Breakdown
Breakdown is a successful
remake of their first album "Avalanche
Breakdown" of 1996. Some synthetics were
replaced by guitars that make this album heavier and
faster. The singers voice sounds dark, mysterious
and agressive which makes this album more
interesting than the first release.

BLUE OCTOBER - Incoming
Catchy Erasure Synthpop from Great Britain. Just
enough acoustic guitar to give it a little earthy
tone, but with lifting and gentle synths. Very
catchy pop songs and strong lyrics round off this
quite good album. Only the singers voice did not fit
my taste. Unfortunately, the vocalist died soon
after this album was released.
