VNV Nation - Empires

I was a little bit sceptical when I ordered this album as I knew that VNV Nation was an EBM-band and EBM is not my favorite music style. But I was really surprised by this release as the songs are made of heavy analogous Synths combined with depressive singing. The songs have something of Gothic but in an electronic way. In my opinion it is the perfect album for people who like Gothic and want to get in touch with Synth.

ROMANTIC VISION - Psychodrama (CD-Single)

This is the second single release after "Build Me A Life" by Romantic Vision from Finland. Psychodrama and the B-Side UTD consist of eighties synth-melodies good singing and guitare playing. The songs are very melancholic and especially UTD is very emotional.

AVANTGARDE - Watch Your Back (CD-Single)

Do you like Elegant Machinery? Yes - then you have to like Avantgarde too!!!
Watch Your Back is their successful attempt to follows EM's footsteps. This song cheers you up and you have to realize that it is spring. Ahh it is nice to hear the playful and light analogous composition of synth-melodies. The two remixes (The Analyzed Remix, a dub-mix, is techno influenced and fast.) and the B-Side Undress You are also very good pieces.

EMERGENZ - Sehnsucht (CD-Single)

Sehnsucht is their first MCD release that was produced by Carlos Perón (ex-Yello and first producer of Wolfsheim). It is a very melodic song with German lyrics that matches with classic Synthpop. The voice of the female singer reminds me of Experience. That means that she has the same wonderful and feelingly singing as Claudia of Experience. All songs on this Single sound very professional with excellent synth arrangements and high quality singing. This Single earns 4 points without any doubt!!!
